The name “SAINT CATHERINE’S CREATIVES'' was coined from the desire to accommodate all forms of art and to invoke the blessings of the Patron Saint of Art in the Ministry. Saint Catherine of Bologna, the Patroness of Artists was known for her great talent in playing the violin, singing, painting, and writing stories. She was a woman pure in heart and body. Her sweet-smelling uncorrupted body lies seated on a golden throne in the Church of Chiesa Della Santa, Bologna-Italy.
SAINT CATHERINE’S CREATIVES also referred to as SCC, began in 2014 as the remnants of the Drama Ministry. And in October 2016, St. Catherine’s Creatives was inaugurated into the Corpus Christi Catholic Church as a full Youth Ministry. Led by Mr. Collins Cudjoe, Mr. Selasi Attipoe and a few others. SCC has since participated in dramatizing the Gospel, sermons as well as organising programmes for the youth.
