The Tuesday group is made up of all those born on Tuesday or any member of the Corpus Christi Parish congregation who wishes to be part of its membership.
The Tuesday Group was established in 1992 when the day group concept was launched in the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Sakumono, then situated in the Holy Child Basic School. Over the years, membership has grown to about 200 members with 100 members permanently active.

Patron Saint: Saint Anthony of Padua (Feast Day - 13th June).
We serve as a communication channel between the Parish Pastoral Council and the membership of the parish who make up the Group
We promote and support the spiritual development of our members
By promoting Christian values and brotherliness among members of the group and the entire congregation we institute trust and understanding among members and solidarity among the various day groups in the Church
We offer welfare support to members and non-members of the Progressive Tuesday Group.
Building a community where members are able to freely express themselves on issues concerning the Group/Church and to be more interactive with one another
Encouraging the youth, especially the progressive youth to take part in matters of the Group/Church and help them actively take up leadership roles is a unique mark of the Tuesday Group.
