Formation of the Association in Corpus Christi Parish was at the latter part of 1994, on the occasion of the pastoral visit of the late Arch Bishop Emeritus, His Grace Dominic Kwadwo Andoh, when few ladies in the church came together to prepare and cater for the refreshment. The event took place in the house of Mrs. Adelaide Otabil. In the process of the preparation of the food one of us brought up the idea to form an association to put ourselves together as a unified body. The idea was received with good feelings amongst the other ladies in the church.
After consultations and series of meetings with the then superiors at St. Joseph the Worker, The Good Shepherd Parishes, National Executives and Rev. Fr. James Duncan (SVD) the Association was finally inaugurated the 8th December 1995 at the Holy Child Nursery School with 30 members with Mother.
