A Tuesday born is defined in many ways all over the world, but in Corpus Christi Parish, Sakumono one word defines us - PROGRESSIVE. The group engages in many activities to enhance the Catholicism among members such as Spiritual formation, Social engagments, Welfare, Charicitable works among others.

Group Objectives


  • To serve as a communication channel between the Parish Pastoral Council and the membership of the Group
  • To promote and support the Spiritual Development of its members
  • To promote Christian values and brotherliness among members of the group and the entire congregation
  • To institute Trust and Understanding among members
  • To promote solidarity among various day groups in the Church
  • To be welfare-oriented and people centered
  • To educate and encourage the youth to fully indulge themselves in matters of the Group/Church and to help them actively take up leadership roles
  • To build a community where members are able to freely express themselves on issues concerning the Group/Church and to be more interactive with one another

 

Meeting Days, Time and Venue


The Tuesday Group meets on the 2nd Sunday of every month after 1st Mass at the St. Augustine room. The group also organises emergency meetings as and when necessary. Executives Meeting falls on ry last Saturdays of the month or whenever necessary

 We humbly welcome all those born on Tuesday to come and join the group upon registering with the church. All Tuesday members should make it a duty to attend meetings to promote the welfare and wellbeing of one another. Those who happen to attend mass on a meeting day but are visiting the parish can also come and witness in order to learn a thing or two and spread the Day Group concept to their parishes or other Catholic churches.
